Product Overview


The ZBW Type Prefabricated Substation, also known as the European-style box-type substation, consists of four components: a high-voltage switchgear, a low-voltage distribution panel, a distribution transformer, and an enclosure. It serves as a power supply and distribution device. Its small size, minimal footprint, and compact structure make it easy to relocate, shortening the construction period and footprint, thereby reducing construction costs. Furthermore, box-type substations offer simple on-site installation, rapid power supply, and simplified equipment maintenance, eliminating the need for dedicated personnel. They can be deployed in close proximity to load centers, which is crucial for power supply reliability and distribution network transformation. The box-type substation performs functions such as power conversion, distribution, transmission, metering, compensation, system control, protection, and communication.

 

Structural Features


1. This ZBW Type Prefabricated Substation consists of a high-voltage distribution unit, a transformer, and a low-voltage distribution unit connected together. It is divided into three functional compartments: a high-voltage compartment, a transformer compartment, and a low-voltage compartment. Both the high-voltage and low-voltage compartments are fully functional. The high-voltage primary power supply system can be arranged in various power supply modes, including ring network power supply, terminal power supply, and dual power supply. High-voltage metering components can also be installed to meet high-voltage metering requirements. The transformer room features energy-saving oil-immersed and dry-type transformers, such as S18, S20, S22, SCB12, SCB14, and SCB18. The transformer room is equipped with a self-starting forced air cooling system and lighting. The low-voltage room can be panel-mounted or cabinet-mounted to meet user requirements, providing a customized power supply solution. It features multiple functions, including power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power compensation, energy metering, and power measurement, meeting diverse user needs and facilitating power supply management and improving power quality.

2. The high-voltage room features a compact and rational structure and comprehensive interlocking to prevent erroneous operation. If required, the transformer can be equipped with rails for convenient access through the two side doors of the transformer room. Each room is equipped with automatic lighting. All components used in both the high- and low-voltage rooms are reliable and easy to operate, ensuring safe and reliable operation and convenient maintenance.

3. Both natural and forced ventilation are used to ensure optimal ventilation and cooling. Both the transformer room and the low-voltage room have ventilation ducts, and the exhaust fan is temperature-controlled, automatically starting and shutting off according to the set temperature to ensure full-load operation of the transformer.
4. The enclosure structure is rainproof and dirt-resistant. Made of special steel or aluminum alloy plates and treated with corrosion protection, it is suitable for long-term outdoor use, ensuring corrosion resistance, waterproofness, and dustproofness, a long service life, and an attractive appearance.

 

Operating Environment Conditions


1. Altitude not exceeding 1000m;
2. Ambient temperature not exceeding +40°C (maximum) and not below -25°C (minimum);
24-hour average temperature not exceeding +35°C;
3. Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35m/s;
4. Relative humidity not exceeding 90% (at +25°C);
5. Horizontal earthquake acceleration not exceeding 0.4m/s², vertical acceleration not exceeding 0.2m/s²;
6. Location free from fire, explosion hazards, severe contamination, chemical corrosion, or severe vibration.

Application Scope


This ZBW Type Prefabricated Substation complies with IEC1330 and other standards. It is suitable for small unmanned substations with voltage levels of 35kV and below and a primary capacity of 2000kVA and below, urban industrial substations, 10kV switchgear, ring network systems, and rural 35kV substations.
