Product Overview
The CSCD Medium Voltage Marine Transformer is a special type of dry-type transformer used in marine environments. It relies on air convection for cooling and does not use insulating oil. It offers advantages such as high safety, compact size, low maintenance costs, excellent flame retardancy, and strong heat dissipation and moisture resistance. Due to the limited space and extremely high safety requirements on ships, its fire, explosion, and moisture resistance are particularly outstanding. It can withstand the harsh environments of complex ships, such as vibration, salt spray, and mold, and is a key component in ship power systems.
Product Structure
This Medium Voltage Marine Transformer utilizes an advanced epoxy resin casting process to achieve a fully sealed, oil-free, and maintenance-free "dry-type" structure. Its main components include:
1. High-voltage Winding (6kV)
This winding is formed using epoxy resin vacuum casting technology. The winding is wound with high-quality oxygen-free copper wire and cast in a high-purity, highly insulating epoxy resin mixture under a high vacuum, which cures to form a rigid, integral unit. This structure completely isolates the high-voltage winding from the external environment, providing not only high insulation strength but also effective resistance to moisture, salt spray, and oil mist, achieving true maintenance-free operation.
2. Low-Voltage Winding (0.4kV)
It utilizes a foil structure with epoxy resin end-sealing and curing at the lower end. The high-current winding on the low-voltage side is wound from a single sheet of aluminum or copper foil. This foil-type winding offers high space efficiency, strong short-circuit resistance, and excellent resistance to short-circuit current surges.
After epoxy resin end-sealing and curing, the winding possesses extremely high mechanical strength, effectively preventing vibration and loosening caused by thermal expansion and contraction during operation, ensuring long-term operational stability.
3. Core Structure
The core is constructed of high-quality, high-permeability, cold-rolled, grain-oriented silicon steel sheets with a stepped lamination structure featuring full bevel joints. This structure effectively reduces the core's no-load losses and no-load current, resulting in low operating noise and significant energy savings. The core surface is treated with a special resin coating for rust and corrosion resistance. The clamps and fasteners undergo rigorous corrosion protection, ensuring they remain rust-free even in the high-temperature, high-humidity marine environment. The core and windings are fastened together into a solid, integrated unit, providing exceptional mechanical stability.
Product Features
1. Excellent "Triple-Proof" Capabilities
The epoxy resin-cast windings form a dense, smooth, and inert protective layer that absorbs moisture, resists corrosion from salt spray and acidic and alkaline gases, and completely inhibits mold growth. With protection ratings up to IP00 and IP20 (optionally higher), it can easily withstand the harsh operating environment of high temperature, high humidity, and high salinity within a ship's engine room.
2. Strong Vibration and Shock Resistance
The entire device (windings and core) is bonded together into a rigid, rigid structure using high-strength resin and fasteners, providing exceptional mechanical strength. The product design fully considers the continuous vibration and potential impacts (such as wind and waves) generated during ship operation. It has passed rigorous vibration and impact resistance tests to ensure that the internal structure remains intact and free of deformation even under severe shaking and impact, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
3. Environmentally Friendly and Maintenance-Free
Pollution-Free: Contains no oil, eliminates the risk of leakage, and poses no risk of pollution to the marine environment.
Low Noise: High-quality core materials and a compact design ensure significantly lower operating noise than similar products, improving the working and living environment for crew members.
Maintenance-Free: The fully sealed design eliminates the need for internal insulation inspections and maintenance throughout its lifecycle, significantly reducing maintenance costs and labor and material investment.
4. Applicability and Flexibility
CSCD marine transformers are suitable for applications with relatively confined spaces and complex environments, such as ships and offshore drilling platforms. Designed for high efficiency, stability, and safety during ship operation, they are designed to withstand stable conditions in marine environments. Implementation Standards
